JD chocolate pudding

Let's start this adventure!!!
I have invited some friends at home tonight, that's a good occasion to start my experiment!

For dessert there's nothing better than a JD chocolate pudding, a successful comfort for gluttons very easy and quick to be prepared.

What you need:

3 eggs
30 gm (1 oz) of sugar
130 gm (4 1/2 oz) of dark chocolate, the one you prefer
2 tbsp of Jack Daniel's

How to do it:

Separate yolk and white and put them in 2 bowls. Add sugar to yolks and beat them until pale and creamy.

In the meantime put the chocolate to melt in bain-marie (hot water bath) or in the microwave and let it cool down a little bit. I added 1 tbsp of water too.

Beat egg whites until stiff

Pour the chocolate cream in the yolk cream and mix them gently until well blended. Add the JD and the egg whites and mix again until you obtain a soft light brown cream.

Pour the cream in 6 cups and leave to cool down in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.

To make things easier I have transferred some JD of the big bottle in a smaller and more manageable one.

How to eat it:

Just as it is or with some milk cream on top or some white and black chocolate-curls

Once upon a time there was a draw

My friend runs a tiny bar in Cosenza in the South of Italy and every Xmas he organizes the New Year's Eve lottery.

I have to say I have never been too lucky with lotteries, but we buy a ticket every year.

Last Xmas we bought our ticket as usual and it was a winning one! What was the prize?!?! A huge 3 liters bottle of Jack Daniel's.....

I am not a whisky drinker so the first thought was to give it away, on the other hand I have a passion for cooking and DIY...how have these things been combined together?! I decided to use the whiskey to experiment with some recipes and to use the empty bottle to do a lamp for my living room.

Will I succeed in this mission?!? Help me to do it!! Send me your recipe and I will try them!

Here's "the baby":
